WRITING STATEMENT

When I think about writing the first thought that comes to my mind are a white paper stained with the ink of a pen. But that isn't always the way I write.

I write with the most organization, putting meaning in every word and space I use. Whether it is a journal, my calendar, or a to-do list, it has to be planned, organized and perfect. Even the month of November needs to have a purpose in its every day and get its blank weeks filled.

But perfection can't be there if I am not in the right mindset for writing in the first place. I need motivation, a purpose, and I need an atmosphere to line my emotions with my sentences. That is why I mostly write when the sunshine is still around and comes through my window, that is why I like the dusk yet I still appreciate the dawn.

For everything to be perfect, to go as planned, and for my writing to be as true as possible to my inner self I need to isolate any disturbance around me. That is why, even if I am alone in my room and nobody is home, I put on my earplugs and listen to music. Mostly classical. It provokes me a set of ideas, imaginations, and fantasies like nothing else can, and I immediately stay concentrated down to my purpose. But not every classical piece does the work for me, so I have to choose playlists carefully. I often choose piano solos, nevertheless I frequently go back to my favorites classics like the Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture above.

Writing online is a different type of creation. It means abandoning the traditional way of writing for something more, something that the rain can't destroy.

The traditional, planned way I write isn't always the best way. Sometimes I am messy, sometimes I take too much time in writing, sometimes my plans are ruined, and sometimes my writing is just horrible and totally the opposite from what I wanted. My expectations aren't just met. Sure, it mostly happens during the first drafts, but at times it can happen with the final result. It is just like a blank and blurry paper stained with ink made from a messy black pen with chaotic calligraphy. That is just a bad result, a failure and a disappointment.

I am not always perfect, I don't always write in my notebooks and I can't write as I would want on some occasions. Still, I search for perfection, calm, organization, and the right time for when it comes to writing. Again, plans don't always go as it follows. My writing is just like a paper, one that is very well put and beautiful but at times can be tinted with colors. It's my choice to make them an advantage or a weakness, it just takes time and you have to have patience.
